Analysis of agonistic autoantibodies

The Blood Health Center offers the determination of agonistic autoantibodies. The examination can provide indications of an autoimmune disease and enables targeted treatment.

What are agonistic autoantibodies

Agonistic autoantibodies are antibodies that are produced by our immune system.

These can be directed against our body's own tissue. (auto = self) Pathological AAk are often pathogenetically effective by, among other things, stimulating or blocking cellular receptors. Consequently, different autoimmune diseases can develop.

Agonistic autoantibodies can often be found in patients with the following diseases:

FREQUENT OCCURRENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING DISEASES

  • Tumour disease and its therapy
  • Post-vac syndrome
  • Post- and Long-COVID Syndrome
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Dilated cardiomyopathy
  • Therapy-refractory hypertension
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Vascular dementia

How we can help

At the Blood Health Center we offer special laboratory procedures to determine the autoantibodies in your blood. Some autoantibodies are considered diagnostic marker antibodies because they are often only detectable in a specific disease. Good autoantibody diagnostics can reveal diseases and thus contribute to improved therapy. It should be noted that detected autoantibodies do not necessarily have to be related to disease activity.
